The core body of Nya Rörelsen members annually facilitate and conduct independent as well as joint artistic projects under the same umbrella, presented nationally and internationally. As part of the collective, each member always works with the support of the other members, leaning on the diverse experiences and perspectives of colleagues, through artistic consultancy and administrative help. The group activates 3-5 financed productions every year and runs workshops/dance activities for professional dance artists and dance interested individuals. This makes Nya Rörelsen one of the most active organisations in the region of Skåne that enables all-year-round activities. Nya Rörelsen strives to support the individual and the collective artist, and this is done through so called ‘Common Projects’ where we collaborate as a team, and ‘Individual Projects’ are individually focussed through the artistic voice and idea/vision of each company member
